Lucie Horsch is mostly known for her amazing work on the recorder, but she has many more talents - including playing the piano. Especially for us, she selected her favourite Mozart to perform: the first movement of the 'Piano Sonata No. 14'. Mozart: raw, pure and uncut. AVROTROS Klassiek asked five pianists to pick their favourite Mozart music and play it in front of a small camera and recording team. In an empty hall in the northern part of Amsterdam they performed their most treasured Mozart on a Steinway D piano. Without editing, played in one piece. Recording: June 2019 in Casco, Amsterdam.
