Produced in 1951 by Castle Films, and marketed for the home market in camera stores and magazines, this black & white novelty film shows daring stunts by hell drivers, barnstormers, and aerial artists. Copyright 1951. Titles: Castle Films presents “Living Dangerously“ (:06-:15). Daredevil stuntmen of the Lynch and Lucky Teter Hell Driver teams drive their cars recklessly on a dirt track. Cars drive through fire and jump into the air off a ramp and crash into cars down below. Another hits a ramp and falls over sideways. A man is run over by a car as he holds wood and the car goes over him. A man walks across a tightrope and sets up a chair and table as he balances on the rope, high above. A man kicks his legs up as he walks high above a canyon (:16-1:52). A helicopter goes into the sky as a woman holds onto rings and does tricks and flips in the sky. A man on the roof of a truck gets onto the ladder of a low flying airplane, he goes up and then he is brought back down. A man holds onto a plane as it takes off, aerial stunts in the sky (1:53-3:35). A man gets into a silver ball, and is rolled down a chute, in a circle, and onto a net. He is then let out and is well. A stuntman walks on ledges on Notre Dame Cathedral above Paris, he balances on one hand and then on his head. A motorcycle stuntman drives through fire and barrels. Children cover their eyes as a stuntman crashes through glass sheets (3:36-5:05). A motorcycle stuntman drives in a circle again and again, faster and faster, no hands on his handlebars. A man climbs to the top of a high ramp and races down on a bike, as he reaches a certain point, the ramp ends, he jumps off the bike into a pool, that's only four feet deep, he waves at the crowd. A person gets into a box to become a human firecracker. The box is lit, it explodes, and the person lives. A man holds a rope by his teeth as he hangs from the Eiffel Tower (5:06-6:57). A couple is loaded into a cannon, ready to be fired. The cannon is fired, both go hurtling through the air into safety net. High wire artists walk on tightropes above a net. Its done as a single, a double, and on a bicycle. A man wears a top hat and cane and balances himself on one finger high above a town, he puts rings on his ankles (6:58-8:45).
