Strong Blast In Melitopol, Ukraine Destroys Russias Pantsir, Russias Kornets Fire At Own Troops

Ukraine said a strong explosion was heard in the centre of the Russian-occupied Melitopol city on May 12. Meanwhile, a group of fleeing Russian troops were blown up with their own weapon as they tried to escape from the Ukraine frontline. A video shows Ukrainian troops using seized Russian weapons abandoned by Putin's deserting soldiers. The Ukrainian military says that intense fighting has put pressure on forward Russian positions in the west of the Bakhmut city. A Ukrainian officer, who’s deployed in the area, said Kyiv’s forces are in an “active offensive phase” around Bakhmut. Ukraine’s General Staff said its forces have exploited gaps in Russian flanks south and west of the city to recapture some territory. Ukraine’s military said that its forces destroyed a Russian Pantsir-S1 anti-aircraft system in Bakhmut.
