#Hygrophila pinnatifida is a medium category plant available from #Tropica in pots and the #12Grow range where it is produced in-house in Tropica’s Danish laboratories. It is an interesting species with a distinctive serrated leaf shape that changes colour and form depending on the conditions. When grown out of water the leaves are green with robust and thick stems. As the plant adapts to its underwater form the leaves become smaller and change colour, with creeping stems that produce numerous side shoots. The more intense the light the more red colouration is produces, particularly on the leaf’s underside. It can be grown as a regular stem plant or as an epiphyte attached to the aquarium hardscape. It does best with moderate to strong lighting and CO2 injection. #Aquariumplants #plantprofile #hygrophilapinnatifida Read more about 1-2 Grow (051ATC)/19228 Read more about the potted version (051A)/4486 MAKE YOUR AQUARIUM A SUCCESS Website Instagram Facebook
