This unique old brick school house was built around 1915. Originally built as an elementary school and was a segregated school for whites only which operated until the 1960’s when the Jim Crow laws were banned and segregation ended thankfully. A dark part of American history for sure. When the school was first built it was one of the most grand schools in the area with ornate tin ceilings and the first school in the county to have indoor plumbing. The toilets in the school are straight out of the early 1900’s. Still have the old rivets and original plumbing fixtures. Thanks for watching! Like the video and leave a comment below if you enjoyed! Thank you very much! Here’s my video of it from 4 years ago-
