This is some rough clips of the storm surge on the beaches of Tofino, on March 2, 2011. The Westcoast of Vancouver Island was hit by very strong winds, and 7-10 meter waves. Power was cut several times. At the peak of the storm, winds of 90knots (167 km/h) were reported near the Brooks Peninsula and the North tip of Vancouver Island. Just another day in paradise. Filmed with a GoPro HD video Camera
