The second instalment of The Count of Monte Cristo animatics is here. Featuring Edmund Dashie and Shycedes in the leading roles (hahahaha). LYRICS IN DESCRIPTION Featured in Equestria Daily: June 7th, 2014 THIS IS THE FINISHED PRODUCT. I should note that the both of us DON'T CARE ABOUT THE SHIPPING OF THE MANE 6 with each other. Honestly we can't see any of them being with each other and think it's weird in general. Because they are shown to be great friends, none of it is romantic and we can't think of them as being anything other than friends. But with our animatics, we want to keep the casting mainly around the mane6, and with all the romantic songs it was inevitable that there would be pairings. So mentally they aren't Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy, to us, they are Edmund Dashie and Shycedes. This one took forever to finish, not only is it coloured in, but we stupidly decided to shade the pictures too... It practically killed my computer to render and export it too, add that to the list of why we don't like colouring the animatics. Anyway, continuing on from the last Monte Cristo animatic; Edmund Dashie has been betrayed by his friend Twilight Monsparkle and thrown in jail. Shycedes doesn't know of the betrayal and is hopeful that he will be released soon and awaits for his return. So they sing their love for each other while they wait. Illustrated by Silhouette Edited by GhostQuill Editor's note- (awhhh there were sooo many stars that had to be moving, and all the flying and the clouds :( Soooooo much that I had to move and have the speed just right and awwwwhhhh. My computer couldn't handle it) “I Will Be There“ is from the “Count of Monte Cristo Musical“, performed by Thomas Borchert and Brandi Burkhardt on the Concept album released in 2008. Written by Frank Wildhorn. We do not own it. My Little Pony Friendship is Magic and it's characters are owned by Hasbro. We also don't own it. (You can get the music for the musical on iTunes but you can't watch the musical unless you see one on stage because there aren't any recordings). LYRICS ------------------------------------------------- EDMUND: In the light that falls at moonrise In the rhythm of the rain In the miracle of ordinary days In the hush of night I will be in the whispers of lovers Everywhere You will find me there In the rustle of a curtain In the bustle of the world In a thousand little unexpected ways When you lift your gaze I will be like the shimmer of one small star Out there Shining everywhere I will be there Beside you Through the lonely nights that fall So close your eyes Remember my embrace I will be there Like mercy I will find you through it all This do I swear I will be there MERCEDES: In a language never spoken With the promises we made In the endless low that owns me heart and soul In the certainty I will always be true and as near as my next prayer You will find me there In the echo of the ocean In the haunting of the wind In mysterious extraordinary ways Through the darkest sky I will be like the shimmer of one small star Out there Shining every where I will be there Beside you Through the lonely nights that fall So close your eyes Remember my embrace I will be there Like freedom I will find you through it all This do I swear I will be there MERCEDES: In the harbour quarter EDMUND: In the stone and mortar BOTH: In the star that we both share MERCEDES: In the sound of laughter EDMUND: Now and ever after BOTH: Look for me I will be there BOTH: I WILL BE THERE BESIDE YOU THROUGH THE LONELY NIGHTS THAT FALL SO CLOSE YOUR EYES EDMUND: REMEMBER MY EMBRACE MERCEDES: (REMEMBER MY EMBRACE) EDMUND: I WILL BE THERE MERCEDES: (I WILL BE THERE) BOTH: LIKE JUSTICE I WILL FIND YOU THROUGH IT ALL EDMUND: This do I swear MERCEDES: (This do I swear) EDMUND: I will be there MERCEDES: This do I swear I will be there BOTH: This do I swear I will be there
