Hawker Sea Hurricane , Z7015, G-BKTH, doing a morning practice display, followed by an afternoon display at Old Warden, during the Shuttleworth Vintage Airshow 2022. This was part of the first batch of Hurricanes that were converted to Sea Hurricane standard. It is the only remaining Sea Hurricane in existence, of 700 manufactured and is also powered by the only remaining working Rolls Royce Merlin engine. The aircraft was restored by a team at the Imperial War Museum, Duxford, for its owners, The Shuttleworth Collection. Its first post restoration flight was made on 17th September 1995. The restoration took 9 years 9 months and 9 days to complete. The aircrafts centre section was laid down as a mark 1 at the Hawker Aircraft Works in Kingston, Surrey, in 1939. Later this section was either shipped to Canada and used in the original build of Z7015 or taken from another damaged airframe and incorporated in a repair of Z7015.
