Aussie: High pressure moves in, but windy & wet around it

Windy weather remains around Tassie and surrounding regions of Bass Strait but high pressure is rolling through bringing a period of settled weather, followed by windier north to north-westerlies in the south. Showers continue on the coastal side of QLD and the lower south-west corner of WA. VIC, SA, NSW, TAS all get a chance of rain - but totals vary, TAS is most exposed to rain, especially the west coast. Elsewhere not much is going on - so if we’re not talking about you it means the weather isn’t likely changing much.
