Consultant psychiatrist Raj Persaud analyses what goes on inside the mind of an assassin, in the wake of an attempt on Donald Trump. “Often you’ve got someone who is unsuccessful in life… what happens in, simmering resentment develops inside their head that society is to blame,” he tells Talk’s Dr David Bull. The FBI identified 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks as the suspect in the attempted assassination of the former president at a campaign rally. The suspect was shot and killed by the Secret Service seconds after he fired shots toward a stage where Trump was speaking in Butler, Pennsylvania. He was working an entry-level job near his hometown, where he graduated from high school in 2022 with a reputation as a bright but quiet classmate. His high school counsellor described him as “respectful” and said he never knew Crooks to be political. Click here for more from Talk If you need any help visit: #donaldtrump #trump
