An in depth review of Wrath: Aeon of Ruin, the new retro fps from 3D Realms. Currently available in early access. There's been a ton of retro fps games dropping in the last few years. We've had Dusk, Amid Evil, Prodeus, Project Warlock, Ultrakill, HROT and now we have Wrath Aeon of Ruin. Wrath is one of the most authentic old school indie fps games out there as it was actually developed with the Quake engine (the dark places variant). Like grand daddy Quake Wrath is all about fast, hard hitting retro shooter action. But what makes this indie game special is it's massive, sprawling levels and challenging save system. Wrath is one of those indie games that has been in early access for some time now but with the recent content update and delay to summer 2021 I decided it was time to see how this first person shooter was shaping up. Is this the next big indie shooter? Find out in this Wrath: Aeon of Ruin review. Wrath Aeon of Ruin was developed by Killpixel and published by 3D Realms and 1C Entertainment.
