Join me as we explore Dushanbe together. On this fully guided walking tour we start with Tajik street food, walk the infamous Rudaki avenue, see the Tajik Opera-Ballet, and pass by many government monuments including the tallest flag pole in the world. We cannot forget Tajikistan's Soviet history with soviet mosaics, buildings, and a cool Soviet tourist shop selling old ornaments. I will show you how to use shared taxis and the bus, including the vocabulary needed in Tajik. A glimpse at the zoo and Kokhi Nawruz show a spark disparity between the old and new, letting us appreciate both the past and future.
