Séba, 42, founded and leads the international organisation, @urgencespanafricanistes, which fights for Africa’s self-determination and total unification. This has led to quite a bit of tension with his birth country, France. The 25-year movement veteran (@kemisebaofficial on IG and TikTok and @kemiseba1 on X) opposes French neo-colonialism in Africa, having spent 25 years fighting against the French-controlled CFA-franc currency and French military occupation of the continent. While France claims Séba has acted as a ‘foreign agent’ and claimed Séba is ‘hostile to France and French interests in Africa,’ many Pan-Africanists worldwide see things differently. To them, Séba is a champion of the people, doggedly fighting on their behalf and encouraging Africans worldwide to get organised to act collectively. Niger, which shares many of Séba’s positions, expelled the French military and is challenging France’s economic control. The landlocked African country is a beacon of Pan-Africanism, currently working to unify with neighbours Burkina Faso and Mali to form a Pan-African federal state after establishing the Alliance of Sahel States confederation. Séba is now a part of this history with his new diplomatic Nigerien passport that allows him to travel freely to fight for Africa’s freedom once again. --------------------SOCIAL----------------------- FACEBOOK - INSTAGRAM - TIKTOK - @africanstream TWITTER -
