Nightmist also was one of the songs I played at the audition 15 years ago. Man does time fly! I wish I had a multitrack recording of the live version we have been playing for the past few years, we made some fun changes that I really enjoy playing...! This time I used the album version, removed the drums with iZotope RX9 (which is unfortunately not perfect) and recorded my own version of the drums. The original was not recorded to a click track so I had to make one following the slight tempo fluctuations to be able to play along tight enough with the music. As usual I'm shooting with only one camera so I cut together both audio and video and try to make the whole thing interesting to watch. I also want to point out that I'm not using any samples on the drum mix, and there aren't any fixes on the audio, except for cutting between takes. This Varus drums kill!
