I've found success now on five separate occasions using this strategy for renovating my yard. I try to eliminate as many steps as possible in the renovation process while still maintaining a fairly high degree of success in the renovation. We all know that renovating a yard is a lot of work, and this is not necessarily an exception; however, I believe there are some fairly messy and fairly labor intensive steps that can be eliminated entirely from the renovation process to make it as simple as we can. My process is basically kill the yard, remove the dead material, rough up the dirt or bring in new dirt, seed, rake, water. That's all there is to it.
