Offseason, the topic of our new book is built around high-frequency places during the holiday season. You might not be able to see from the images, but from the 11 days we spent on the island we got about 2 days of good weather. No jokes. Most days we did not get to skate more than one spot or sometimes not at all. So many spots on the island, but on this trip we could not pick a good spot, we had to pick a dry spot. Everyone became hobby meteorologists judging where the clouds are going and looking at the weather map. Then it was on me to drive to the corner of the island that looked promising. Some days there were no chances of skating at all, so we just went bowling and did whatever we could do to keep ourselves entertained.
