The newly-elected Palestinian government holds its first session amid the raging war in Gaza. Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas tapped Mohammad Mustafa, a economist, as prime minister. Mustafa named his new lineup on Thursday, which includes relatively unknown technocrats and Abbas’ interior minister and several members of the secular Fatah movement.
