Man, I was so very close to picking the “Rooftop/Chopper Chase“ song. Though once I realized that quite a few other people had done their own take on that track, I kind of wanted to go and comb through the soundtrack once more. I had picked out a handful that I really liked and thought that I could work with. In particular, this song really stood out to me... the only problem was that all I had to work with is basically the part you hear from 0:00-0:20. I loved how heavy this track sounded, but not having a lot to go off of was pretty tricky. It's really a shame how we'll probably never get to hear the original full-length soundtrack (as well as in HD). Whoever was in charge of development must have decided to chop up all the songs into short loops and compress the hell outta them so that they'd fit on an N64 cartridge... which, yeah, I can understand that... but those chopped and compressed versions wound up being used for the other ports as well!
