Theyyam is a ritualistic folk dance of the Indian state of Kerala. The word theyyam is derived from the Malayalam word 'Daivam' meaning God. Various forms of Theyyam is performed in the northern part of Kerala during October – April every year. The theyyam featured in this video is Thai Para Devatha (a form of Goddess Durga).
