Forging bearded axe for my little Shieldmaiden

I made a small tomahawk for my elder daughter two years ago. Two years passed and I made a bearded axe for my younger one - for my little shieldmaiden. We like to spend time in the forest or by the river, where these tools will surely be used often. Someone would say it is not safe... but an axe is not supposed to be safe :) In the right hands it should be a powerful tool. Just like the elder daughter, the younger one will learn to use this gift with my help. The inscription on the side of the axe says: Shieldmaiden beloved of the gods.
