World’s oldest skydiver died a week after jump In early October, 104-year-old American Dorothy Hoffner braved a parachute jump to become the oldest skydiver in history, according to Guinness World Records. After the jump, the woman, who got around with a walker, said she felt “marvelous, it couldn’t have been better.“ This Tuesday, Hoffner was scheduled to give an exclusive interview to a publication and talk about the jump. But on Monday night, the retiree died in her sleep in a nursing home. She had lived only a week after the historic jump. Источник: Readovka World
