#reversecamera #backupcamera #rearviewcamera In this tutorial, we'll show you how to easily connect an aftermarket reverse camera to your car radio. Whether your car radio has CANbus or not, we've got you covered with step-by-step instructions. Steps: Step 1: Connect one end of the extension cable to the rearview camera input. Step 2: Connect the trigger cable to the “Reverse/BACK“ cable. (If your car radio lacks a designated “Reverse“ or “Back“ cable on the power cable, connect it next to the red ACC cable.) Step 3: Attach the other end of the extension cable's trigger cable to the red cable of the camera power cable. Step 4: Connect the rearview camera to the extension cable and camera power cable. Step 5: Once connected, ensure to select the correct camera format on your car radio settings to display the right image. For Car radio with CANbus: - Simply connect the red cable to the trigger cable of the extension cable. Ground the black cable. For Car radio without CANbus: - Connect the red cable to the positive pole (“ “) of the reversing light. Ground the black cable to the negative pole (“-“) of the reversing light. *Don't forget to adjust your car radio settings to match your camera standard. For example, if your camera is CVBS, select CVBS in the settings. Mismatched parameters may result in improper display. Refer to the video from 1:41-2:39.
