A mamba is a rope release skill that has the skipper release one handle, spin it around in the air for a full rotation before catching the handle and completing a forward jump rope skip. The previous world record that Peter had to beat was 24 skips in 30 seconds. The challenging part is being in control of the rope consistently enough to do one “mamba“ after another very quickly.
