Seoul develops new AI technology that can detect faults in citys sewer pipes

서울시, 사람이 찾아냈던 ‘하수관로 결함 탐지’에 전국 최초로 AI활용 Artificial intelligence will soon oversee the maintenance of Seoul city’s sewage system. The Seoul Digital Foundation says it recently developed new AI tech that automatically detects any defects. Previously, hours of footage had to be viewed to check for flaws in the 9-thousand kilometers of underground pipes. The new system screens those videos and pick out any irregularities. Several districts in Seoul are currently running it on a trial basis.
