Carrick a Rede rope bridge in County Antrim Northern Ireland has a wild, wobbly, rickety rope crossing not for the fault hearted! The National Trust look after Carrick a Rede rope bridge and charge a whopping £ to cross it. You can take the 1km walk along the stunning coastal path for free. It was a grey day for our visit the we enjoyed the walk and crossing Carrick a Rede bridge to the island where the fishermen had a hut to catch the salmon. Sadly that all stopped in 2002 but its still a place of historic interest and well worth a stop as its just up the road from the Giant's Causeway. Subscribe to channel Like the music we use?
