My cat Phoenix makes an appearance at around the 14:00 mark. For this piece, I wanted to return to sequencing with the just the Varigate 4 . I actually tried to incorporate the bigger Korg SQ-64, but it was just too much. Varigate is sequencing 2hp Bell and Telharmonic. A random envelope opens up the filter that Telharmonic is being fed into, giving more sound variability. The type of noise made by 2hp Bell (the “model“ of bell), is being switched around by a signal from Triple Sloths, being attenuated by my Tangle Quartet VCA. Both voices are being fed into Morphagene, which is recording and playing back in real time. Triple Sloths is also modulating the gene size of Morphagene, and the Centroid of Telharmonic (which affects timbre). For my last free gate output from Varigate 4 , I had it sometimes turn up the Morphagene an octave to get more pitch variability overall. I'm using both reverb from my Pico DSP and shimmer reverb from my Keeley Caverns pedal. I hope you enjoy and please let me know what you think! ___________________________________________________________________________ #modularsynth #eurorack #ambientmusic #generativemusic #morphagene #makenoise #cat Bandcamp:
