As we are patiently waiting for winter to show up in Lake Tahoe, we got a sudden urge to drive in the truck and go camping on some amazing BLM land in Alabama Hills, CA. With our off the cuff decision making and lack of preparation, we ran into a... shall we say... blustery issue.
