Nikol Pashinyan, Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, addresses the general debate of the 77th Session of the General Assembly of the UN (New York, 20 - 26 September 2022). The Prime Minister of Armenia told the General Assembly his country is determined to defend its “democracy, independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity by all means” in the conflict with Azerbaijan, but “diplomatic solutions are an absolute priority”. Speaking today (22 Sep), Nikol Pashinyan also said that “the full engagement and support of international community is crucial.” “We are determined to build peace in our region, but we need the full support of international community, which will stand by the sovereign and democratic country and people subjected to aggression against the norms and principles of international law,” said the Prime Minister.
