#VDMHomeStories For the latest installment of our Instagram Live Talk series, director Mateo Kries welcomed American-Israeli designer, scientist and MIT professor Neri Oxman, one of the most visionary creatives of our time. Whether a pavilion spun by silkworms, 3D printed clothing, or collaborations with Björk and Iris van Herpen – Neri Oxmans transdisciplinary projects create bridges between design, art, computing and material research. In the talk, they spoke about Neri’s current MoMA solo exhibition “Material Ecology“, about the inspirations she finds in nature, science and technology, and the necessity of designing with, rather than against nature.
