released July 14, 2013 by Bermudos Mobilize makes his debut on Bermudos this week for the labels 32nd overall release. The Russian producer is considered by many as one of the most creative up and comers in electronic music. His productions have tremendous depth and cross a variety of genres but all keep a refreshing contemporary feel. His ‘Shades of Space’ EP marks his debut on Bermudos and it includes four brand new studio productions. The title cut leads the EP off and it’s certainly named appropriately with its spacey, floaty feel. it’s a very effortless sounding production with some scattered drums and cool electronic stabs which add just enough to the atmospheric groove without having lose its light and airy feel. The second track ‘San Francisco’ is a drummy, tech house piece with some soft atmospheric pads that gradually build throughout the course of the production. Soft atmospheres and melancholic chord changes highlight the second half for a very strong finish to the track. The EP is closed out with ‘Cave’ and ‘Cinema’ which are our two favourite tracks on the EP. The deep, hypnotic grooves of ‘Caves’ are perfect for setting the mood of any room and the track also comes with a great sense of anticipation for building a set. ‘Cinema’ is a three and a half minute excursion into melodic electronica which is full of wonderful textures and melancholic themes which seem just perfect to close the EP out. A fabulous collection from Mobilize and a great signing for Bermudos! 1. Mobilize - [Shades Of Space #01] Shades Of Space 2. Mobilize - [Shades Of Space #02] San Francisco 3.
