- Realistic Traffic Vehicles Mod Performance Testing

Been working on this for the last fair few months now - a large pack of highly optimised, every day traffic vehicles and an accompanying traffic tool. This video is just some performance testing stuff with my usual amount of vehicles running, thought I'd stick it up here. The tests in this video are with 15 active traffic cars ( player vehicle) on my standard settings and pc setup - no effort made to maximise performance or anything, just standard gameplay ( performance hit from recording) to show what it's currently like in normal gameplay. I have a decent gpu but am heavily cpu limited (2017 ryzen 5 quad-core) so the simplified jbeams are still the bottleneck in this specific instance atm. Still achieving a smooth 30-35fps in most situations here though which I think isn't too bad. This project is still in heavy WIP so basically everything is subject to change; more cars to add, more optimisations to do, more controller tool features to be added etc. Estimated release date is currently “in like a year's time maybe“ so don't expect anything too soon, however I've been working on some versions of this stuff with map specific traffic for my Yakuza series ports and @CarKiller's Need For Speed maps which should be seeing the light of day sooner if all goes well.
