Ancient cellars discovered. Pecs, Hungary. Aerial shots flying over Hungarian town of Pecs. Various shots of construction work being carried out. This work is hampered by the fact that the sites are riddled with cellars and passages thirty feet down, dating from Turkish times. This causes difficulties with foundations. We see interiors of some of these cellars. Various good shots in a recently discovered catacomb of the city. These tombs date back to 300 AD and are the only ones of their kind to be found outside of Rome. We see bone-filled tombs and wall paintings clearly. Cataloguer's note: Hungarian commentary.
