Opens with a shot of a soldier trying to mount a horse; as he swings his leg up; the horse starts to buck and dance around - which is funny in a slapstick way. Then another shot of mounting correctly. Competition includes events with and without horses. A series of shots of some of these: horses going over a jump; toward camera. Soldiers in gas masks crawl under a tarp. Same; with smoke billowing over the top; the men emerge from the tarp and run toward camera. Quite a weird sight. A 3-legged race of military officers approaching camera and finish line - won by two Army chaplains. And another weird shot; of one man fallen across another on the grass; as smoke seems to come from the ground; in BG children watch with big smiles - which makes it seem as if they are happy to be seeing some disaster of war.
