When you think you are going to rehearse: Mozart “Piano concerto nº 27, KV 595“ and it turns out that both, the orchestra and the conductor, have the scores of Rachmaninoff “Piano concerto nº 2“ !!!!!!!!! The office of the representative of the pianist Alicia de Larrocha, was wrong about which concerto she was going to rehearse and, next day, to perform. She was lucky because, as on that same tour, she was playing, among others, Rachmaninoff’s No. 2, the change, although unexpected, was not traumatic!
