When I moved to Arizona in 1994, I was just 24 years old, but I was able to afford a three-bedroom house with a backyard in North Phoenix for $87,000. In 2024, that house costs half a million. My daughter just turned 21. She has a great job, & she works so hard. She said to me, “Mom, I did the math.
