As Greek politicians vote on the contentious bailout programme accepted by the Syriza leadership led by Alexis Tsipras, opposition activists have taken to Syntagma Square where violence erupted, Wednesday. A huge police presence on the square did not stop activists from engaging in violence, with Molotov cocktails thrown at police lines and a white van set alight in the process.
