Wimbledon, London. Several shots of medallions and plaques that look as if they are made of metal; commentator says they are made of plastic. Various shots of sculptor Jack Whall making a plastic 'stamp' of a female head; a plastic sheet is laid over the mould of the head, then heated and compressed over the mould to take the shape. Jack takes a plaster mould of a large medallion and makes a golden-coloured plastic 'stamp' of this design; he coats the medallion with black paint then wipes it with a rag to create an antique texture. Jack picks up the front of a suit of armour to reveal a man inside; this man carries the armour and a spear out of shot. Note: on file is a letter from Nu-Vista Novelties Ltd asking to be put in touch with Jack Whall. FILM ID: A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ. EXPLORE OUR ONLINE CHANNEL, BRITISH PATHÉ TV.
