Primitive myths inspired Angelin Preljocaj’s 2010 creation at the Opéra national de Paris. The choreographer reinterprets the history of Buddha, the one who has become enlightened, by exploring the different stages of the quest of the absolute. A long inner journey full of difficulties, torments and doubts.
