🎥 Built in 1959 at Mykolaiv, Shipyard №445 61 Kommunara on Inhul river, Russian Navy Black Sea Fleet 145th Rescue Ship Squad’s Project 527M Prut class rescue and salvage vessel EPRON “ЭПРОН” (ex-MB-26) returning from 35 days Mediterranean deployment transited Istanbul strait on February 17, 2022 towards Black Sea. Equipped with heavy-duty derricks, submersible recompression chambers, rescue chambers & bells, as well as Tiger ROV & Panthera Plus ROV Systems, the ship was designed to perform salvage, lifting, towing, off-ship firefighting, manned diving operations and emergency repairs to stranded or disabled vessels. ℹ️ ℹ️
