Bodycam shows dramatic rescue of child trapped in frozen pond. Bodycam footage has captured the dramatic rescue of a child trapped in a frozen pond. CCTV show a police officer, named as Troy Ellison, running towards the water. The child cries out while holding onto the edge of the ice with their body submerged. The officer crawls onto the partially frozen pond before getting out a small axe and a rope. With the help of another officer and the fire department, Mr Ellison manages to pull the child up and off the ice.
