La Plata Rail Days 2023 -- FAST westbound Z train at the Amtrak platform

Taken during the “unofficial“ La Plata (MO) Rail Days on June 22nd, this was the first train we saw roar through after finally arriving from GA and TN. Not surprisingly, it was a Z train -- highest priority intermodal -- which are common here on BNSF Railway's southern transcontinental route (Chicago to L.A.)
