On this day, September 13, 1985, one of the biggest and most iconic video games was released, “Super Mario Bros.“ for NES/Famicom, which started very different from what we know. In honor of the game's development I made this surprise demo. The project was shelved as a concept. As soon as I knew it was close to September 13th, I resumed work doing levels from 1-2 to 3-1 in 5 days including the elements that appear after 1-2. And the news is that it won't just be a video for you! I see so many people asking for demos of Super Mario Advance 5, Super Mario Wonderland or Kiddy Kong's Showtime and Kiddy Kong's Challenge, that I decided to dedicate myself to this demo so that you could play at the same time I posted the video. Also I hope you like it! Everything was created and made with a lot of love and care for the game and the characters. Every detail based on real concepts by Shigeru Miyamoto and Takashi Tezuka. Other details were put by me in the form of “what it would be like“ and based on some information of TCRF. Some musics I remixed myself from the VG Music website, so if anyone there made the midis used, comment in this video, so I can credit them. I made new jingles myself with my little knowledge of music (I'm starter). The same thing for the new sound effects and the boxart that I intend to change in the future. The engine is better than SMB1 but at the same time worse to represent something more prototype. Have fun! And happy celebration of 38 years of Super Mario Bros. *BUT ATTENTION* (NEW UPDATED September 30th) The download will be available for a limited time. In a few days the game will no longer be here. I have more surprises for you all soon! Mario & Friends Super Mario Bros. belong to Nintendo. This is just a fan game celebrating the 38th anniversary of the release of Super Mario Bros. The levels and many things are totally different from the original and everything was treated with great respect. This is a non-profit work by fans for fans. Vini Lemos - Nimaginendo Games 2023
