In 1979 Judas Priest played an invite-only gig at the Mudd Club in NYC. The recording of this concert circulated among Judas Priest fans for decades. Finally, the concert was remastered by Tom Allom, and released as a part of the 50th anniversary box set. The show itself is a very interesting piece of history. Thankfully, this period of the band's career is well-documented, but this gig was much more intimate than standard Priest concerts. Rob's very relaxed here (and probably drunk or stoned), and often talks to the audience in between songs. However, the performance itself is amazing. This is a rather short concert, but a very satisfying one - and definitely one of the best-sounding ones too! Tracklist: 1. Hell Bent for Leather 2. Delivering the Goods 3. Running Wild 4. Beyond the Realms of Death 5. The Green Manalishi 6. Victim of Changes 7. Rock Forever 8. Starbreaker I am not the owner of the rights to this recording. I publish it only for entertainment purposes, with no intention to benefit from it. I'll delete it as soon as the right's owner contacts me and tells me that he doesn't want it to be shared on YouTube. Support the band! Buy their albums, merch, and tickets to their concerts!
