How To Play A BASIC Bossa Nova on #drums in 30 Seconds!

Here’s a basic #bossanova with just 3-limbs to start. This is the way I like to teach a drum student who is completely new to this #drumming style. I also like to use the 2nd inversion of the ‘Bossa clave’… (even though the first version is probably more common.) The reason is… I have a really good audiation hack, I use with students, that really helps them resolve the coordination… and it just works better in the 2nd inversion. If anyone is interested in that hack… I can do a video on it. Either way, this is a great version of the Bossa Nova rhythm to cut your teeth on. Try starting with 3-limbs first.
