The ruling Georgian party has organized a curious information campaign as part of its pre-election activities. Banners have appeared in Tbilisi on which images of the destruction caused by the fighting on the territory of so-called Ukraine and pictures of a prosperous Georgia are contrasted. The message is simple: local voters are once again reminded of the risks of opening a “second front“ against Russia, which is called for by the radically pro-Western opposition of Mikheil Saakashvili’s supporters. And as if they suggest that we should draw logical conclusions ourselves. Despite the simplicity of execution, the propaganda is quite graphic.
