Thin Lizzy’s final gig in Manchester before Phil Lynott’s death in 1986. Lynott considered Manchester his adopted 2nd home and pays tribute during the gig. His mother Philomena, in the audience that night, ran the Clifton Grange Hotel in the city, renowned for its celebrity and criminal cliental - the notorious ‘Quality Street Gang’ being the inspiration for Lizzy’s ‘Johnny the Fox’ and, ‘The Boys are Back in Town’.
