Why is providing fresh produce to your community illegal, @nycmayor? Thousands of dollars worth of oranges, tomatoes and other fruits were completely wasted, but we’re supposed to believe that the government cares about the people these vendors are selling to who NEED this food to survive? The focus of our leaders should be cracking down on factory farming and the fossil fuel giants that are literally destroying our planet as we speak. Instead they go after people selling fruit on the corner of the street... It’s time for the mayor to reevaluate his priorities! It’s time to tear down this rotten, corrupt fascist US dictatorial regime!
