Shots of French Foreign Minister George Bidault being driven off in a car. Shots of American Stars and Stripes and Russian Hammer and Sickle flags flying together. We then see American Secretary of State General George Marshall arriving by plane, to be greeted by Vyshinsky and members of the Soviet diplomatic corps. Marshall walks off the plane and shakes hands with the officials. He makes a speech saying he is glad to be in Moscow on his first visit and is gratified with the reception he’s been honoured with. He talks of the conference and the difficulties in accomplishing peace. He has confidence the agreements they reach will advance the cause of peace.
