noise, repeated. is a series that explores the sounds that machines make. It's all about feeding things back into each other and seeing - well, hearing - what we get. Episode three features my light controlled Atari Punk Console (APC) and my modified PT2399 delay. The APC is a variant of the design which just uses a single light dependent resistor (LDR) for one of the controls (build guide below). The black thing with the eyes is just a bottle top that I'm using to block / reduce the light to the LDR. The delay has been adapted to massively increase the delay time (from about 0.5 to well over 2 seconds) at the expense of a significant increase in noise. Reverb - and later, a phaser - is from a Korg NTS-1.
