For the last few years, various trance mutations have flooded the experimental dance scene but this duo stresses that they have found the inspiration in the cringiest and purest form of the genre. Despite the artists’ backgrounds, “Volvo” is more about beachfront open-air vibes rather than “music for art students”. But not to worry, if the original seems too trance, the VIP mix on the flip side manages to deliver the same effect but without the drums. Ушко has recently been turning heads in Moscow’s forward-thinking indie scene with her record “Silver Hits.” However, for this collaboration, she brought her fearless production style to Moa Pillar in a minimal form:
